What is a Task Board?

When a Codir needs to be challenged.
The Task Board is there!

A Task Board is a team of specialists that invites itself to the Board of Directors to challenge a specific point of the strategy or to give another vision.

The Task Board is there to challenge and disrupt in a realistic way a Codir, a Comex on the company’s strategy. It is a way to confront the vision of the Codir with the visions of external managers/executives.
It is not a decision-making body, it is a time for consultation and reflection.

On an ad hoc basis, at the request of the management committee, the experts of the Task Board set up come to listen to and challenge the company’s strategy in complete confidentiality and can provide guidance in the implementation of the operational project: Acquisition, Integration, Development of a new activity.

These experts (with skills chosen by the Board of Directors) must master the subject in a few hours of preparation (before the meeting) in order to be able to question the managers.

While the advisory board works on a long-term basis with the managers, the Task Board only intervenes on a specific point and leaves once the mission has been explored and advice given.
